Working out of her Crowsnest Pass, Alberta studio, Yvonne Martinez has specialized in watercolour paintings of birds & flowers since 1981. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art, Yvonne is a Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (A.F.C.A.).

Her artwork has become known for its depiction of birds - birds that she portrays with a sense of personality and vitality, shown in a charming narrative style. These pieces possess strong composition and subtle detail, and have found their way into many collections nation wide.

The Limited Edition Giclée Prints of Yvonne's watercolour paintings are kept to a publication size of 95 prints, after which the printing plates are destroyed. Each print is published to the highest reproduction standards on 100% acid free rag paper, and has individual pencil/prisma colour or metallic details added by the artist, making each one delicately unique from the next. Included on the back is a complete story written by Yvonne explaining her reference and inspiration for each watercolour.
